Middleton Band once again took part in the annual Whit Friday Brass Band contests in Saddleworth. Often described as ‘The greatest free show on Earth’, the Saddleworth and Tameside Whit Friday Brass Band Contests take place every year on the afternoon and evening of Whit Friday – 13th June in 2014.

Middleton Band once again stepped back in time for the fun filled East Lancashire Railway’s (ELR) 1940’s weekend event. On Monday 26th May, the band played a 1940’s Proms themed concert at a packed out St Paul’s church, Ramsbottom to conclude the ELR 1940’s bank holiday weekend.
Middleton Band will be taking part in not one, but two St. George’s Night concerts this year. Why not come along and celebrate England’s patron saint St. George by joining in our fun patriotic festivities with pride!
