This morning our fantastic youth band have departed for their tour to Disneyland Paris! This is the third time the youth band has toured to Disneyland and the whole youth band is as excited as can be.

Middleton Youth Band is delighted to announce it has bagged £4000 from a Tesco funding scheme. Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help funding initiative, which sees grants – raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to thousands of local community projects every year.
Once again, the band had an enjoyable and successful time at the Whit Friday Band Contests in Tameside and Saddleworth. The band competed at 11 contests and as far as we know have won 5 second section prizes and a 2nd best local prize at Scouthead. The full results can be found […]
