Geoff Harrison is no stranger to banding, in fact Geoff has been involved in banding for 60 years!
Peter Bates, Chairman of the NWABBA, paid a ‘surprise’ visit to the band’s annual Christmas concert at Middleton cricket club, to award Geoff with a special Diploma of honour and long service medal to commemorate Geoff’s service to the banding movement.
It’ll be an OBE next Geoff!
