On 29th May 2010 the Youth band once again participated in the East Lancashire Railway’s 1940’s/ War weekend event. The band entertained the crowds on the platform of Bolton Street station playing a selection of pieces including ‘In the Mood,’ ‘American Patrol,’ ‘Kiss me Goodnight Sergeant Major,’ ‘ Roll Out the Barrel,’ ‘Lambeth Walk,’ ‘The Great Escape,’ ‘Dad’s Army,’ ‘Rule Britannia,’ ‘There’ll Always be an England’ and ‘1914.’
