On a glorious sunny Sunday, the band took part in the annual Hebden bridge March contest. The band marched off to 1914, getting the crowd going with our fabuous choral rendition of It’s a Long Way to Tipparary. Taking to the stand, the band played the Hymn Nottingham and the contest march ORB.
The band are delighted to have been placed 2nd overall and to have had the best soloist of the day, our Principal cornet Hannah Rowland!!!!
