Middleton Band are delighted to report on a successful Whit Friday evening of band contests.
The band had first place victories at Dukinfield Albion and the Broadoak contests and a third place at Scouthead contest too. The weather looked like rain but mainly held off throughout the night.
We were thrilled that some of our youth band came to join us for the occasion, with two of them playing in the contests themselves.
