What a glorious day to have a concert in the picturesque Jubilee Park! The band played a varied programme including a solo, The Lazy Trumpeter’ by principal cornet Adam Albinson.

We ordered glorious weather just for the occasion! The youth band once again took part in the East Lancashire Railway 1940’s event at Bury Transport Museum. This year, with the day being so sunny, the band set up outside the museum and entertained visitors to the 1940’s event.
We will be holding a Band Quiz at St. Thomas Mores Church Hall on Saturday 22nd June, and would like to extend an invitation to you to enter a team (or two!!) of up to six people into the quiz.

After several weeks of uncertainty, it has now been confirmed that the band are eligible to represent the North West in the 2nd section at the National Finals in Cheltenham this September. For more information and a full list of North West representatives click here.
